St. Mary Anne's Parish (North Elk Parish)
In 1706 North Elk Parish was established for the inhabitants of Cecil County north of the Elk River. Thus Cecil County was delineated into two parishes. With the erection of the Parish Church of St. Mary Anne's at North East the parish became known as St. Mary Anne's Parish.
