1743 - Col. John Ward gave to son John Ward Jr. 500 acres called Strange on the west side of the Bohemia River by Morgan's Creek.
Deed of gift. Col. John Ward of Cecil Co., gentleman, for natural love and affection and for 5 shillings, to his son John Ward Jr. of the same place, a tract of 500 acres called Strange on west side of Bohemia River by Morgan's Creek.
